Power Surge: The Missions blasted two more home runs last night to move their total to 38 in July. The monthly record since 2005 is 40, which they achieved in April 2011. San Antonio has clubbed 147 homers on the season. The franchise record is 171, which they set in 1925.

Perfect Ten: Last night the Missions scored 10 runs in a game for the 10th time this season. They are 10-0 when doing so.

Four More: Missions utility men Cory Spangenberg and Hernán Pérez each tallied a quartet of hits last night. It was the second time this season the Missions had at least two players with four hits. Three different Missions had four hits on June 18 against Reno.
