ABOUT SUNDAY: Jamie Ritchie recorded a career-high tying four hits and Travis Swaggerty took a career-high four walks as the Indians outlasted the Bats in a back-and-forth, high-scoring affair on Sunday afternoon, 11-8. After Indy scored first in the bottom of the second inning on a two-out, RBI single by Ritchie, the Bats took a lead and piled on for a four-run lead with two in the third and three in the fourth. Trailing by four in the bottom of the fourth, the Indians put up crooked numbers in their next four offensive half innings to crawl to a lead. With the game tied 8-8 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Ritchie roped his third hit of the day to right-field to give Indy its first lead since the second inning. The Indians would tack on additional insurance runs en route to their fifth win of the seven-game set with Louisville.

PATIENCE IS KEY: Travis Swaggerty showed strong plate discipline on Sunday afternoon as he took a career-high four walks. Over his last eight games, Travis Swaggerty has reached base in 19 of his 35 plate appearances - good for a .583 on-base percentage. He has walked 12 times compared to seven strikeouts and has at least one walk in seven of his last eight games. Since July 24, Swaggerty leads the International League in walks with 14.

THAT'S A LOT OF BAGGAGE: The Indians recently surpassed 100 stolen bases on the season - marking the first time they've reached 100-plus stolen bases in a season since 2018 (113). Travis Swaggerty swiped the clubs 100th bag and his 10th of the season on Saturday night. Swaggerty is the fifth player to collect double-digit stolen bases this season for Indy. Ji-Hwan Bae leads the team with 20 stolen bases, followed by Jared Oliva (14), Oneil Cruz (11), Mason Martin (11) and Travis Swaggerty (11).

MARTIN PRODUCES: Despite going hitless and snapping his five-game hitting streak on Sunday, Mason Martin drew three walks. Martin has reached base safely in 11 of his last 13 games. Since Aug. 3 (1), Martin is 9-for-19 with three doubles, five runs scored and three RBI. He has hit safely in five of his last seven games and has a .500 on-base percentage this month. Martin had five total multi-hit performances in 20 April games for his most in a single month this season, after which he earned Indianapolis' Player of the Month award. He now is just one multi-hit game shy of meeting that mark through just six games in August.

VICTORIES AT VICTORY FIELD: The Indians recorded their 999th win (regular season and postseason combined) at Victory Field since the ballpark opened on July 11, 1996 on Sunday afternoon, and are now just one win away from 1,000 wins in the ballpark. They currently have a 987-808 record at the ballpark in the regular season and 12-12 record in postseason games.

BIG GAME RITCHIE: Jamie Ritchie slugged a career-high tying four hits during Sunday's series finale. It was his fourth career four-hit game and his first since June 6, 2021 with Triple-A Reno vs. Sacramento. He currently owns a five-game hitting streak and is hitting .381 (8-for-21) with two doubles, two RBI, and three runs scored.

HOLDIN' IT DOWN: Eric Hanhold recorded his fifth save of the season on Sunday afternoon. He has slammed the door on opponents in five of his six save opportunities. After allowing four earned runs on 7/9 at Iowa, he has not allowed an earned run and only three runs over his last eight appearances (10.0ip). In his last two appearances, he has recorded a save without allowing a hit.

TODAY: After taking five of seven games against Louisville last week at Victory Field, the Indians will begin a six-game set against the Memphis Redbirds tonight at 8:05 PM ET at AutoZone Park. From June 21-26, the Indians and Redbirds split their first six-game series at Victory Field. Since 2021, the Indians hold a 8-4 record against Memphis. Right-hander Miguel Yajure will take the mound for Indianapolis in his second career start against the Redbirds. Countering for Memphis will be RHP Thomas Parsons, who is 6-3 with a 5.21 ERA (45er/77.2ip) and a 1.24 WHIP. In two starts against Indy, Parsons is 0-1 with a 7.00 ERA (7er/9.0ip).

YAHOO: RHP Miguel Yajure is coming off his best outing of the season on Aug. 3 (1), when he tossed 5.0 one-run innings and earned five punchouts. Yajure has been excellent in his last two starts, combined, he has allowed just two runs in 9.0 innings and walked two compared to striking out 10. He made his lone start against Memphis on June 23, he threw 1.1 innings and allowed two runs on four hits, a walk and struck out one.

THIS DAY IN 2012: After tossing a combined no-hitter in April, Justin Wilson went the distance to no-hit Charlotte at Victory Field. It was the third no-hitter in the Victory Field era and the 12th in team history. He went 8.0 hitless innings with one walk and five strikeouts before the game got rained out. The Tribe won the game, 3-0, to improve to 72-48 on the season.
