Last Game: The Wheat Kings shutout the Regina Pats 4-0 Wednesday. The Pats came out with more chances in the first but the Wheat Kings took over the game scoring 4 unanswered to win their 5th game since Marty Murray took over as Head Coach & General Manager. Brett Hyland extended his goal scoring streak and added an assist earning first star honours. For Carson Bjarnason he would pick up his 2nd shutout of the season and his career earning third star of the game.

Dec 30th VS Moose Jaw Warriors: Tonight the Wheat Kings travel to Moose Jaw for the first time this season. These two clubs have only met once all year with the Wheat Kings defeating the Warriors 4-1 October 1st. Wheat Kings got scoring out of Charlie Elick, Calder Anderson, Evan Groening & Jake Chiasson in that game. The Warriors are coming off a big win Wednesday over the Winnipeg Ice by a score of 3-1 thanks to Ryder Korczak's hatrick.

150th Game: Nolan Ritchie played in his 150th career WHL Game Wednesday night picking up an assist. Mason Ward will play in his 150th Game Friday night in Moose Jaw.

Who's Hot: Brett Hyland is currently on a 8 game goal scoring streak. Hyland currently has 10 goals scored in his last 8 games.
