Prince Albert, SK - The Medicine Hat Tigers (35-21-5-2) look to split their weekend Saskatchewan road-trip with a visit to Prince Albert and take on the Raiders (29-27-1-3) Saturday night at the Art Hauser Centre.
Both teams are coming off losses as the Tigers fell 3-1 to the Saskatoon Blades Friday night, while also up in Prince Albert, the Raiders were taken out by the Edmonton Oil Kings in overtime 3-2. The season series sees the Raiders and Tigers both picking up wins in regulation while the Raiders have also won in a shootout for a 2-1 record over the Tigers this season.
Despite the loss to the Blades, the Tigers are still in the one seed when it comes to the Central Division and second overall in the Eastern Conference. While Prince Albert's single point gets them into 7th in the Conference, meaning if the the playoffs started tonight. The Tigers would play the Raiders in Round 1 of the WHL Playoffs.
