Dayton Gems News Release

DAYTON, OH - The Dayton Gems have announced that Wednesday's game against Bloomington is canceled due to the winter storm that is expected to hit the Midwest Tuesday and Wednesday.

The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 22 at 7 p.m. The "Kids Eat Free" promotion has also been moved to that date.

All tickets that were sold for Wednesday's game can be used for February 22 game. If ticket holders have questions, they can contact Shawn Watring at 275-7777.

The storm that is developing in the Midwest is expected to leave a large amount of ice in the Dayton area and over a foot of snow in other areas of the country.

"We are trying to be proactive not only for the safety of our fans, but for the safety of Bloomington as well," said Dayton Gems President Joe Greene.

The Kettering Medical Center is proud to be the official title sponsor of the Gems for the 2010-11 season.
