
Second Place Oilers Hit Road

Tulsa Oilers News Release
3 for The Road:The Tulsa Oilers have moved into second place of the Central Hockey League's Berry Conference and have three key road conference match ups this week. The Oilers take on first place Allen Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The Oilers travel to Mississippi for a pair of games Friday and Saturday with each game starting at 7:05 p.m. All games can be accessed via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com and CHL TV.
Movin' Up: The Oilers won two out of three games last week and have won six of their last seven to move into second place. After dropping a 4-1 decision to Colorado on Tuesday, The Oilers took a pair of one goal decisions from Missouri, 4-3 and 5-4 on Friday and Saturday.
Still Rollin': Chad Costello has extended his point streak to 14 games (tied for longest in the CHL this season). His 31 points in that streak has helped him moved into second place in the CHL scoring race with 26 goals and 40 assists for 66 points.
Steel Walls: Braden Walls had a goal and two assists for the Oilers Saturday night, against his former team in Missouri.
Killin' Em: Three road games this week shouldn't bother the Oilers top flight penalty killing unit. Tulsa has the best road penalty killing percentage in the league at 86.7 percent and is second overall at 85.4 percent, just behind Missouri's 85.5 percent.
Back Home: The Oilers return home February 11th against Texas at 7:35 p.m.
