LAST GAME: The Tigers finished off their season series with the Prince Albert Raiders on Wednesday night as the Tigers got out to a quick start with a Chad Butcher goal just over a minute into the game. The Tigers had a scoring spree in the second, netting three goals on Raiders goaltender Rylan Parenteau. Matt Staples kicked things off in the frame with his 2nd of the season tipping in a point shot, 17 seconds later Dryden Hunt added a marker on a quick wrist shot and Steven Owre added one before the buzzer sounded to give the Tigers a 4-1 lead after 2 period. The final frame saw the team's trade goals but the Tigers would add one more on a marker from Cole Sanford, his 50th of the season, Marek Langhamer stopped 27 shots for his 28th victory of the season.
IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS: Tigers fans will be scoreboard watching as we enter the final weekend of the season and the playoffs begin. Medicine Hat is currently sitting in second place in the Central Division, battling the Calgary Hitmen for the banner. Calgary will finish with a home and home series with Kootenay which kicks off tonight as well.
