
Gajic Re-Assigned to Gwinnett

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that forward Milan Gajic has been re-assigned to the team from the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League. In a separate transaction, forward Scott Kelman has been called up to the Lowell Lock Monsters of the AHL.
Gajic returns to the Gladiators after appearing in four games with the Providence Bruins. He has now posted one assist in 17 AHL games this season with the Bruins.
The Burnaby, BC native currently ranks 3rd in scoring among rookies on the Gladiators with 43 points off of 20 goals and 23 assists in just 28 games this season with Gwinnett. Gajic has already garnered ECHL player of the week honors this season winning the award for the week of January 9th though January 15th.
Prior to turning professional this year, Gajic spent four years at the University of Michigan where he scored 115 points (53g-62a) in 159 games and helped the Wolverines win the CCHA championship and advance to the Frozen Four in 2001-02 and 2002-03.
Kelman makes his third trip to the American Hockey League this season joining his third different team this year. Kelman appeared in 3 games with Manitoba posting an assist from December 7th though December 13th. He then skated in two games with the Hershey Bears on February 10th and 11th.
The Winnipeg, Manitoba native currently shares fourth in scoring on the Gladiators with 47 points in 46 games this season with Gwinnett. He has posted 8 power play goals and 2 shorthanded goals for the Gladiators this season.
Gajic should be available for the Gladiators for Friday's 7:30 p.m. tilt in Columbia against the Inferno while Kelman should be available for the Lock Monsters for their Saturday night home game against Norfolk.
The Gwinnett Gladiators continue the 2005-06 ECHL season on the road on Friday, March 3rd as they travel to Columbia to take on the Inferno at 7:30 p.m. The Gladiators offer several ticket packages for different needs as well as group outings, suites and birthday parties.
