
Grizzlies' Cameron Named HOK Sport ECHL Plus Performer Of The Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Utah center Garett Cameron is the HOK Sport ECHL
Plus Performer of the Month after leading the league with a plus-minus
rating of +14 in February.
In his third professional season, the 23-year-old was plus in nine of his
14 games, including +2 on six occasions, and was even or better in every
game but one as Utah went 10-2-2 to improve to 32-20-5 and move into third
place in the West Division with 69 points.
He led the Grizzlies in February with two game-winning goals while ranking
second on the team with eight goals and 19 points in 14 games, including a
12-game scoring streak (8g-9a) from Feb. 1-24.
The 5-foot-9 and 180-pound Cameron leads Utah with five game-winning goals
while ranking second on the team in plus-minus rating with +13. He is tied
for third on the team with a career-high 20 goals while ranking fifth in
scoring with a career-best 44 points in 53 games.
The native of Grandora, Saskatchewan began his professional career in
2003-04 in the ECHL scoring five points (2g-3a) in 11 regular season games
and six points (4g-2a) in eight Kelly Cup Playoff games with Peoria. He
played in the Central Hockey League in 2004-05 scoring 26 points (10g-16a)
in 47 games with Topeka and Oklahoma City.
He played with Melfort of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League in 2002-03
scoring 106 points (53g-53a) in 57 games.
