The Richmond Renegades are 4-5 and in a fourth place tie with Greensboro in the Northeast Division after going 3-1 last week. The âGades put together their first winning streak of the season after two trades last week. Richmond continues a six game road trip this week. The âGades return home Saturday, November 9 vs. Trenton.

GAME NOTES: The third eight meetings and the second of four here. The âGades are 0-2 against the defending Northeast Division champs. Richmond lost 4-3 in their first visit to Trenton. Scott Bertoli has three goals and an assist against Richmond. The âGades have been held to an average of 21.5 shots on goal in the two games vs. Trenton.

GAME NOTES: The first of eight meetings, four at Reading. The âGades were 3-2-1 vs. the Royals last season, 0-2-1 at Reading. The last two meetings last season went to overtime. The two clubs begin the week on winning streaks. The 5-5 Royals have won their last two games.

GAME NOTES: The second of eight meetings, and the second of four here. âGades were blanked 3-0 in their first visit to Atlantic City. Scott Stirling stopped 35 shots. The Bullies scored all three goals in the third period. The âGades were 1-2-1 at Atlantic City last year.

GAME NOTES: Richmond fell behind 2-0 in the first period but twice rallied to get to within a goal. Two five-on-three power play goals helped the Checkers to their first win of the season. Nick Lent and Alex Matieroukine scored for Richmond. The âGades out-shot the Checkers 35-32 but were 1-9 on the power play.
Friday, October 25 vs. Columbia
WIN 4-1
GAME NOTES: The âGades snapped a four game Inferno winning streak. Richmond jumped out to a 2-0 lead and put the game away with two third period goals. Nick Lent and Richard Pitirri had a goal and assist. The âGades had only two PIM. Jamie Herrington had two assists. Marc Magliarditi made 24 saves.
Saturday, October 26 @ Greensboro
WIN 3-2 (OT)
GAME NOTES: The âGades picked up their first road win of the year with a dominant special teams performance. Richmond was 3-6 on the power play and 5-5 on the penalty kill, including a 5-on-3 in the third period. Lars Pettersen scored two goals, including the OT game-winner. Jon Zion had three assists.

GAME NOTES: The âGades and Men O' War traded leads before Brad Church sent the âGades home with their second straight overtime win. Peter Hogan added two assists. Nick Lent extended his goal scoring streak to four games. Dan Lombard earned his first pro win. The âGades continued their solid special teams play. Richmond was 2-6 on the power play and 6-6 on the penalty kill.
âGADES NOTES: The Renegades have won three straight games. The âGades opened a six game road trip with back to back overtime wins. Special teams play has been the backbone of the winning streak. The âGades have five power play goals in their last two games (5-12) and have killed off 13 straight opposing power plays, including a third period five-on-three in each of their last two games. The âGades had only two PIM in their win over Columbia on Friday and went three straight periods (second and third vs. Columbia and first vs. Greensboro) without a penalty. The âGades are 3-0 in overtime games and have OT wins in their last two games. Richmond is out-shooting opponents 7-1 in overtime. Nick Lent has a four game goal scoring streak. Brad Church has points in four straight games. Jon Zion had a three assist game in the win over Greensboro. Dan Lombard picked up his first win as a Renegade with a 23 save effort vs. Lexington. The opposition has scored the first goal in seven of nine games. The âGades are limiting opponents to under 29 shots on goal per game. Richmond plays 10 of their first 13 on the road. Seven members of the current roster were not in the lineup on opening night. The âGades traded captain Brian Goudie to Florida for Jonathan St. Louis last Tuesday. Church now wears the "C." They acquired Nick Lent from Columbus and picked up David Brosseau from Dayton for cash. Ian Turner remains on IR. Marc Magliarditi has allowed three goals in his last two starts. Magliarditi earned his 114th ECHL career win Saturday and is now tied for seventh in league history for wins with Jason Saal. The âGades waived Shawn Mamane and Trevor Gillies Friday. Mamane has signed with Arkansas. Richmond has eight rookies and nine former NHL draft picks on the roster.
