
Mamane Mania Returns to Arkansas

The Arkansas RiverBlades have re-signed fan-favorite Shawn Mamane, a power forward from last year's squad.
Mamane, 23, a native of Montreal, Quebec, played 48 games for the Riverblades last season after coming over from Peoria. He accumulated 14 goals and 17 assists for 31 points, and added 119 penalty minutes.
Mamane began this year as a member of the Richmond Renegades, scoring two goals and 13 penalty minutes in six games. Over the past three seasons, he has also seen action with the AHL's Worcester IceCats, where he scored four goals and seven assists for 11 points with 75 penalty minutes in 55 games.
The Riverblades return to Alltel Arena this weekend, hosting the Columbia Inferno in a pair of games, Saturday at 7:05 PM and Sunday at 6:05 PM. Ticket information is available by calling the RiverBlades office at (501) 975-2327.
