Scott Acquired From Atlantic City for Cash

BILOXI, Miss. – Mississippi Sea Wolves coach Bob Woods announced today forward Mike Scott has been acquired from the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies for an undisclosed amount of cash.

Scott, 25, was scoreless in two games with Atlantic City this season. The 6-foot, 180-pound native of Calgary, Alberta completed his collegiate career last season at the University of Alaska-Anchorage. He led his college team in points with 15 goals and 14 assists in 35 games. Scott also joined the Boardwalk Bullies for four games in the regular season last year, scoring one goal and adding one assist. In the 2002 Kelly Cup Playoffs with Atlantic City, Scott tallied four goals in 12 games.

"I look for Mike to bolster our offense," said Woods. "He was a solid scorer in college and I expect him to put up points for the Sea Wolves."

The Sea Wolves host the Arkansas RiverBlades at 7:35 p.m. on Friday. All Military that show I.D., receive two regular priced tickets for the price of one!

Mississippi travels to Pensacola on Saturday, for a 7:05 p.m. opening faceoff at the Pensacola Civic Center.

The Sea Wolves round out the weekend with a Sunday home contest against the Louisiana IceGators at 5:05 p.m. at the Wolves Den.
