Louisiana IceGators News Release
Lafayette, LA - IceGators captain Bruce Richardson and Daniel Goneau spent two hours today in the French Immersion program at Evangeline Elementary School on Butcher Switch Rd.
The duo talked -- in French only -- to four different classes, ages five through eight. Richardson and Goneau, who are childhood friends and are from the Montreal area, visited the school as part of its career week activities.
Below are pictures which show highlights of the IceGators' visit. Tomorrow, IceGators rookie Chris Taliercio, a Dartmouth graduate, will speak to other students at the school about the importance of setting goals and selecting a career.
