Hudson Valley Renegades News Release
The Hudson Valley Renegades were held to three hits on Friday night in a 5-3 loss to the Winston-Salem Dash at Trist Stadium.
Four pitchers combined in the effort with starter Kaleb Roper working six innings of one-hit ball to earn his first win (1-6). Mitch Spence allowed four earned runs over 6.2 innings to drop to 7-3.
The Dash struck for two in the second inning to gain the edge, with the Renegades committing two errors in the frame. Winston-Salem tacked on three more in the fifth.
The Renegades tried to come back in the latter third of the game. A wild pitch brought home a run in the seventh but the Gades stranded two on base. A passed ball and a sacrifice fly off the bat of Carlos Narvaez gave Hudson Valley two more runs in the eighth but it was too late.
The teams meet again on Saturday.
Per the State of New York, the Renegades are now open at 100% capacity. Tickets continue to be a tremendous value starting as low as $6. Visit HVRenegades.com for ticket information and so much more.
