The Richmond Renegades are 17-10 after going 2-1 last week. The âGades are in a first place tie with Atlantic City in the Northeast Division. Richmond plays only one game this week, and just one in the next 11 days.

Saturday, December 14 vs. Reading 7:05 PM
GAME NOTES: The fourth of eight meetings and the third of four in Reading. The âGades are 2-1 vs. the Royals, 1-1 at Reading. Each club has inflicted the worst loss of the season on the other (âGades beat the Royals 7-2 in Richmond in November, and the Royals thumped the âGades 6-0 at Reading last Saturday). David Brosseau has six points vs. the Royals.

GAME NOTES: The âGades earned their second overtime win over the Generals this season on a goal by Jamie Herrington. Justin Plamondon scored twice for Richmond. The âGades out-shot the Generals 6-0 in OT. Dan Vandermeer had two assists. Marc Magliarditi made 25 saves.
Saturday, December 7 vs. Reading
LOSS 6-0
GAME NOTES: The âGades suffered their most lopsided loss of the year and their second straight shutout loss on the road. The Royals blew the game open with four second period goals, including two shorthanded. The âGades out-shot Reading 32-30. Jeff Sanger earned the shutout with 32 saves.
Sunday, December 8 vs. Johnstown
WIN 3-0
GAME NOTES: The âGades bounced back with their fifth straight home win and first shutout of the season. Dan Lombard turned aside 33 Chiefs shots for his first pro shutout. Alex Matieroukine, Brad Church, and Richard Pitirri scored for the âGades. Lars Pettersen chipped in with two assists.
âGADES NOTES: The Renegades have won five straight and 11 of their last 12 games at home. Richmond is 7-0 in ovetime/shootouts. Richmond has been blanked in their last two road games. The âGades have been shutout three times this season, all on the road. Kelly Selix joined the âGades Saturday. Richmond also used ex-âGade Bryan McKinney in the lineup Sunday. Selix and McKinney were released Monday. Brad Church is the âGades fourth and latest call-up. He was summoned to Cleveland of the AHL Monday. Jon Zion was called up to Cincinnati of the AHL following Saturday's game. Nick Lent is on loan to Portland of the AHL. Jayme Filipowicz is on loan to St. John of the AHL. Daivd Brosseau and Jonathan St. Louis have missed four straight games with injuries. Jamie Herrington is fourth in the ECHL in rookie scoring. He is second in rookie plus-minus. Zion is tied for eighth in rookie scoring. The âGades have played the last four contests short-benched due to call-ups and injuries. Marc Magliarditi earned his 121st career win Thursday. He is seventh in ECHL history, three behind Jeff Salajko. The âGades scored their eighth shorthanded goal of the year Thursday. Milt Mastad was placed back on IR 11/30 with a hand injury. Richmond plays only once in the next 11 days. The âGades 6-0 loss at Reading Saturday was their most lopsided of the season. Dan Lombard notched the âGades first shutout of the season Sunday with a 33 save effort. Richmond scored their league leading eighth shorthanded goal Thursday. The âGades are 14 for their last 15 on the penalty kill. The âGades are 0 for their last 27 on the power play. Richmond has gone 137:42 without a goal on the road. They have not scored an even-strength road goal for 196:45.
