Steelheads to Welcome One-Millionth Fan

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads expect to see their one-millionth fan walk through the doors of the Bank of America Centre on Monday, December 16th.

163,396 fans attended games in the franchise's inaugural season, and attendance has increased every year since. Last season, more than 200,000 fans came out to cheer on the professional hockey team.

The lucky (one-millionth) fan will be crowned and showered with fabulous prizes, including:

* 2 season tickets for the 2003-04 season
* Jersey with "1,000,000th Fan" embroidered on the back
* Roundtrip airfare, hotel, and game tickets to see the Steelheads play in San Diego
* A suite at a Steelheads game
* "Steelhead for a Night" (meet the team in the locker room/sit on the bench for a game)
* Team signed hockey stick
* Team signed hockey puck
* Team signed 2002-03 program
* Ride on the Zamboni
* Lifetime supply of Pepsi at Steelheads games
* Lifetime supply of Taco Bell cups
* Appear in a Steelheads commercial next season
* Steelheads merchandise such as: scarf and mittens, sweatshirt, t-shirt, travel mug, cowbell, and genuine Butt Furr shorts!

Every fan in attendance will have the opportunity to be chosen. Governor Dirk Kempthorne has been invited to draw a random ticket stub live on the ice between the first and second periods to select the winner.
