
Gable Gross Clears Waivers

GREENVILLE, S.C. â The Greenville Grrrowl of the East Coast Hockey League announced today that Gable Gross has cleared waivers. There were other ECHL teams reportedly interested in his services, but the 21-year old forward has elected to join the University of Alberta hockey team and further his education.
The 6', 190 lb. Van Nuys, California native recorded 1 goal, 4 assists, 5 points and 16 penalty minutes in 11 games with the Grrrowl this season.
The Grrrowl return to action tomorrow (Saturday) night when they host the Southeast Division-rival Augusta Lynx (7:05 PM, no local radio coverage). Tickets are available at the BI-LO Center Box office and all TicketMaster outlets. Fans who bring a non-perishable canned food donation to the box office will receive $2.00 off the price of a ticket as part of the Holiday Food Drive.
