Walby Activated off Injured Reserve; Crain Placed on IR

BILOXI, Miss. â Mississippi Sea Wolves coach Bob Woods announced today right wing Steffon Walby (STEFF-in WAHL-bee) has been activated off the 7-day injured reserve, while defenseman Jason Crain has been placed on the 7-day IR.
Walby celebrates his 30th birthday today by being activated off the injured reserve. The 6-foot, 200-pound native of Lodi, Wisconsin has seven goals, 15 assists for 22 points in 11 games with Mississippi this season. Walby missed five games after being placed on injured reserve November 8.
Crain, 22, has three assists in 16 games with the Sea Wolves this season. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania is in his rookie season playing professional hockey
Tonight the Sea Wolves entertain the Columbus Cottonmouths at 7:35 p.m. at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. All military including active and retired, NASA and Stennis employees buying one ticket, receive one ticket FREE.
Mississippi travels north tomorrow to face Jackson at 7:05 p.m. It's Game 4 in the head-to-head battle for the Nextel Cup. The Sea Wolves lead the series, five points to two.
The Sea Wolves return home on Sunday to host the Baton Rouge Kingfish at 5:05 p.m. at the Wolves Den. An adult buying an individual ticket receives one FREE ticket for a child 12 and under. Mississippi leads the Coca-Cola Cup standings against Baton Rouge, six points to none.
