Full Weekend Again

Three Again: The Tulsa Oilers will have their second straight three game weekend this week. They host the Amarillo gorillas on Friday and the Rapid City Rush on Saturday with both games starting at 7:35 p.m. On Sunday the Oilers visit the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs at 4:05 p.m. All games can be heard via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com and viewed at CHL TV.

Three Down: The Oilers saw their current losing streak reach seven games, dropping three games last week. They lost in Allen, 5-3, lost to Texas 4-1 and dropped a 4-2 decision to Arizona.

Hisey Back: Center Rob Hisey returned to the Oilers line-up at Allen after missing three games. He picked up on his torrid scoring pace with two goals (including his league leading fourth shorthand goal of the year) and one assist. Hisey now has 15 goals and 20 assists for 35 points in 20 games.

Back North: Saturday's game with Rapid City will be the Oilers first game against a Northern Conference opponent in four games. The Oilers are 10-5-1 and against Northern Conference teams and 2-5-0 against Southern Conference teams.

Short Stuff: The Oilers goal against Texas on Saturday night was a shorthanded goal by Jake Riddle. It is the team's eighth shorthanded goal of the season, tying the Oilers with Texas for the league lead in shorthanded goals.
