Full Week of Fantastic RiverDogs Promotions Coming up at the Joe

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Following a four-game road trip to Savannah, the Charleston RiverDogs open June with a seven-game homestand against the Augusta GreenJackets and the Asheville Tourists. Augusta is making their second visit to The Joe, while Asheville comes in for the first time and will return again right before the All-Star break.

Monday, June 1, 7:05 pm: Every Monday at The Joe is Coors Monday Night Baseball, presented by Kickin' 92.5. Visit the Ashley View Pub for $1 hot dogs and $1 draft beers as the RiverDogs spoof Monday Night Football. Make sure to bring your school spirit with you as the South Carolina colleges bring their rivalries to The Joe. We will have special contests matching each school against each other to see who has the most pride. Dogs With a Cause will be featuring Respite Care. Respite Care strives to improve the quality of life for individuals and families coping with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Tuesday, June 2, 7:05 pm: Whether it is your first date or you have been together for decades, bring your special someone to the third Miller Lite Tuesday Day Night at The Joe, presented by NASH FM. However, will have a special emphasis on bringing your bros to the ballpark for Bromance Night as Tuesday's date night is an "Ode to the Bros". Leave your lady at home and bring your best bro out to the ballpark. "Brotivities" feature a secret handshake contest, a game of "Know Your Bro", and "What Would a Bro Do?" to help celebrate the occasion. On the main concourse, we will have our Miller Lite "Bro Zone" set up where bros can grab a beer, relax, play some cornhole, and enjoy the game. For every Tuesday home game this season, any duo of fans will receive a special 2-for-$20 deal at the box office. The promotion includes two tickets to the game, two tacos, two fountain drinks and one nacho tray all for $20. Whether you have a significant other or just want to hang out with your bro, come out to The Joe and enjoy Tuesday's spectacular promotion!

Wednesday, June 3, 7:05 pm: Every Wednesday home game at The Joe is a HealthSouth Senior Wednesday, presented by MeTV and Magic 107.3. Seniors who enter the park before 7 p.m. will receive a food voucher for a complimentary hot dog, 16-ounce fountain drink and bag of chips. On Wednesday, the RiverDogs will be raising awareness and educating all on strokes, one of the leading health risks to seniors. Help us celebrate our area firefighters for Firefighter Appreciation Night as we thank the men and women who risk their lives to help serve the community. Wednesday is also Hump Day presented by Z93 Jamz. Finally, we also have a Super FUNraiser featuring Charleston Parks Conservancy. 

Thursday, June 4, 7:05 pm: The first game of the series with the Asheville Tourists is a Thirsty Thursday, the fourth of 10 Thirsty Thursdays during the 2015 season. Enjoy 'Happy Hour' with $1 beers and music in the Ashley View Pub presented by Budweiser. DJ Natty Heavy will be at "The Joe" spinning popular tunes throughout the game presented by 95SX. Thursday is also Strike Out Stroke Night, presented by MUSC. Join MUSC in helping the RiverDogs Strike Out Stroke, as they'll be doing blood pressure screenings on the concourse and showing us how to avoid "Sneaky Salt." The MUSC Medical Helicopter will also be on hand with a special delivery.

Friday, June 5, 7:05 pm: Let's get psychedelic as we throw it back to the 1960s and pay homage to one of the most influential bands of all time, the Grateful Dead. Friday is also the fifth ISHPI Red Shirt Friday of the season and it is presented by WEZL, with postgame fireworks over the scenic Ashley River presented by Home Telecom. Support the military by wearing red and when you come to the box office, you can and receive $1 off your ticket. Fans will have the option to donate that dollar to Canines for Veterans, who will once again bring "Titus the Bat Dog" to perform his batboy duties during the game. The RiverDogs will wear their special red jerseys as a show of support for our military. It is Mars Petcare Weekend. Saturday, June 6, 6:05 pm: The RiverDogs welcome all the Catholic parishes in the Lowcountry as we celebrate Catholic Night at The Joe. The RiverDogs are paying tribute to the long Catholic history in Charleston. Saturday's game is presented by Mix96. We are happy to have all our friends from James Island in attendance, as it is James Island Night at The Joe as well. The RiverDogs will also play host to the area's Girl Scouts, who will have a special pregame catch on the field. It is Mars Petcare Weekend. Saturday night is your chance to make that dream come true. Kids are able to run around the diamond every Saturday, with the Postgame Kids Run the Bases program presented by CPI Security Systems.

Sunday, June 7, 5:05 pm: There will be a very special surprise birthday party for Charlie T. RiverDog on Dog Day. But please keep this party a secret! Charlie will be celebrating with fans in attendance, all of his mascot friends from the Lowcountry, and Sir Purr from the Carolina Panthers who will be making a special surprise birthday party appearance! Bring your four-legged friends to the ballpark, as it is the final Dog Day of the season and a gift for Charlie to help us celebrate his BIG day! All presents will be donated to the Salvation Army, and fans that donate gifts will get into the game for free. Bark for Your Brew Craft Beer Tasting begins before the game at 2 p.m. Bring your furry friend with you to sample over 30 different craft beers at The Joe. Every Sunday at The Joe is a Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission Kids Club Sunday, presented by Y102.5. Parking is free, and kids 12-under eat free courtesy of Pepsi. They will receive a coupon for a hot dog, fountain drink and chips. All members of the RiverDogs Kids Club receive free admission to every Family Sunday Game. The RiverDogs Kids Club, known as the RiverPups, is free to join and open to all kids 12-and-under. It is Mars Petcare Weekend.
