FSN Adds Four Additional Storm Telecasts in 2008

SEATTLE, Thursday, July 10, 2008 - The Seattle Storm and FSN Northwest today announced that the network will carry four additional Storm telecasts this season, bringing the total number of games delivered locally this season to six, which equals the largest number of Storm games ever delivered by FSN in the five-year partnership.

"We are thrilled to announce four additional telecasts on FSN this season," said Storm CEO Karen Bryant. "We are gearing up for another run to the WNBA Playoffs and it's great that our FSN schedule features three key Western Conference match-ups including this Saturday against the LA Sparks."

The next Storm game on FSN's broadcast schedule is Saturday, July 12 at 7 p.m., when Seattle takes on rookie phenom Candace Parker and the Los Angeles Sparks. The schedule follows with a 10 a.m. matchup against the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday, July 22, which will be replayed later that same day at 4:30 p.m. Next up is the Western Conference rival Sacramento Monarchs on Thursday, July 27 at 6 p.m. followed by a late-season matchup against the expansion Chicago Sky on Thursday, September 4 at 5 p.m. The Storm's complete six-game schedule on FSN is as follows:

In addition to the games broadcast on television locally by FSN Northwest, four of the Storm's games are nationally televised, including Sunday, August 31 against the Connecticut Sun on ABC and Sunday, September 14 against the Los Angeles Sparks on ESPN2.
