Kingston Frontenacs News Release
The Kingston Frontenacs announce today the acquisition of 17 year old, first year left winger Adam Lloyd from the Brampton Battalion in exchange for 19 year old, fourth year left winger Derek Froats.

Playing in his first full OHL season, Lloyd has three goals and three assists in 31 games along with 25 minutes in penalties. Last season he appeared in one OHL game with the Battalion. In his draft year, Lloyd had 29 goals and 74 points in 43 games with Ottawa.
"We are continuing to make additions to our club that we believe with help us be the team we want to be moving forward," said General Manager Doug Gilmour about the 6.00, 183 pound forward. "Lloyd is a skilled player and is having a solid OHL season as a rookie."
Departing the team will be left winger Derek Froats.
"Again, to get something, you have to give something," said Gilmour. "We wish Froatsy all the best and thank him for his time and contributions while he was with us."
