Brace Named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack has named forward Cameron Brace the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 8th, 2012.

Brace, a Markham native picked up an assist on Friday evening in Niagara in a 4-3 Shoot-out loss to the Ice Dogs. On Saturday, Brace and his Attack teammates returned home to take on the Central Division leading Brampton Battalion.

Brace notched his 13th and 14th goals of the season and added an assist en route to receiving 3rd Star Honours and a 4-3 Attack win in overtime. The veteran forward has now set career highs in goals (14), assists (13) and points (27).

The Attack is back in action at home this weekend when they host the Erie Otters for a two game home stand beginning Friday evening. Both Friday and Saturday's games begin at 7:30pm.

Early Bird Season Ticket Holders are reminded that Friday is a rain check night and all tickets must be rain checked before 5:00pm on Thursday.
