Sudbury Wolves (12-14-3-2) edged Kingston Frontenacs (14-13-1-1) this evening in Sudbury by a final score of 4 - 2.

First Period Summary:
19-seconds in, Frontenacs' Chris Petrow and Kyle Musselman drop the gloves and hammer away at each other and Fighting majors issued to each. Fronts' Anthony Stewart and Zack Stortini go at it; Stewart nails Storini with a right and the linesmen jump in fast to break it up and Fighting majors handed out to both heavyweights at 1:03. Bad blood spills over from Kingston-Sudbury last meeting in October. At 6-minutes even, Evan Kotsopoulos (11) fires from the left-wing beating Patrick Ehelechner on a bad angle, assisted by Todd Griffith and Chris Stewart. Sudbury quickly responds with rookie Benoit Pouliot (14) at 8:03 assisted by Zach Stortini. Sudbury's Ryan Hastings takes down Radek Smolenak behind the Wolves net and Roughing penalty at 13:58. Holding to Frontenacs' Justin Suda at 17:53 and Wolves power play opportunity. Sudbury takes the lead at 19:45 Kyle Lamb (4) assisted Rafal Martynowski and Benoit Pouliot as Dayne Davis is screened by Bobby Chaumont. Shots on Goal favour Sudbury 16 to 6. Wolves lead 2 - 1.

Second Period Summary:
Slashing to Wolves' Ryan Hastings, his second of the game, at 3:12. 4:00 and his second of the night, Evan Kotsopoulos (11) one-times it from Ben Shutron set up by Bobby Hughes at the point on the power play. Fronts' Kyle Raftis is called for Tripping at 5:29 then just after the whistle Hooking to Nick Foligno. Kingston is caught on a bad line change and is given a Bench minor for Too Many Men at 11:10. Just inside the blueline, Dayne Davis had no chance on the Marc Staal (4) goal with 1:36 to go assisted by Ryan McDonough and Alex Eaton. 18:24. Ehelechner goes down to one knee in his crease as the period ends from a Tony Rizzi shot to the shoulder. Shots on Goal this period favour Kingston 16 to 14. Sudbury now leads Kingston 3 - 2.

Third Period Summary:
Cross Checking at 1:56 to Nick Foligno, his second visit to the penalty box this game. Coinciding minors at 9:27 to Wolves' Kyle Lamb for Hooking and Chris Stewart for Roughing. 1:20 remaining in regulation, Dayne Davis skates to the bench for the 6th Frontenacs attacker. Kingston Head Coach Jim Hulton calls time out at 1:18. On the empty net Benoit Pouliot (14) his second of the night with 33-seconds in the game. Final: Sudbury Wolves 4 - Kingston Frontenacs 2.

Kingston Frontenacs had 20-players dressed. Dan Revelle and Cory Emmerton travelled with the team but were listed as scratches due to concusion-like symptoms. Emmerton is expected return to action this weekend.

Kingston Frontenacs's next home game is Friday, December 10th Vs Soo Greyhounds. Game Time at Kingston Memorial Centre is 7:30PM. 8th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Night; Please bring a new unwrapped stuffed toy to the game and toss it on the ice after the Frontenacs first goal. Kingston Frontenacs captain Anthony Stewart has been invited to Hockey Canada Development Camp in Winnipeg which will be trimmed to represent Canada at the 2005 World Junior Hockey Championship in Grand Fork, North Dakota. Frontenacs 1st round Euro-Draft choice is Radek Smolenak who has been invited to represent his country at the Czech Republic camp which will be held in North Dakota.
