
Lundmark Lands In Saginaw

The Saginaw Spirit have acquired veteran defenseman Erik Lundmark from the Plymouth Whalers, for a 7th round selection in the 2006 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.
Lundmark is a 6'4", 200 pound, 19 year old native of Wabigoon, Ontario. He has four goals, three assists and 49 penalty minutes in parts of three seasons with the Whalers.
"We're happy to acquire Erik," said Spirit Head Coach and General Manager Bob Mancini. "He'll add size and experience to our blue line."
The Whalers signed Lundmark as a free agent ahead of the 2002-03 season.
The Saginaw Spirit, Mid-Michigan's Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Franchise plays 34 home games from September to March. The OHL is part of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), which also includes the Western Hockey League (WHL) and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
