The Kingston Frontenacs announce today that they have selected import defenceman Michal Cajkovsky from the Slovan Bratislava Jrs. of the Slovakian Junior League in today's CHL Import Draft.

Cajkovsky represented his country of Slovakia at the World U18's held in April in Belarus and played against Team Canada and Frontenac Erik Gudbranson. He wore the letter "A" as a team Assistant Captain during the 6 game event.

The 6'4", 200 pound left shot defenceman had 4 goals and 17 points in 28 games along with 97 penalty minutes for his U20 junior Club, while also appearing in 17 games with the Senior Club Slovan Bratislava, accumulating 4 penalty minutes.

"With Michal we feel we've added another big physical defenseman," said Larry Mavety, Director of Hockey Operations and General Manager. "He's a left shot defenceman that played in all situations for the Slovakian U18 Team. Cajkovsky will report to the Club at training camp.
