
Front court double-doubles not enough as Idaho falls to Jam

BAKERSFIELD, California- The Idaho Stamped e got double-doubles from center Eric Boateng (19 points, 11 rebounds) and forward Carlos Wheeler (18 points, 14 rebounds, five assists), but the Bakersfield Jam (3-4) won 110-103 on Saturday night at the Jam Events Center.
Luke Jackson (17 points and seven rebounds) and Willie Jenkins (14 points, nine rebounds, four assists - his sixth straight double-digit scoring output) came off the bench to supply the Stampede (0-6) with positive contributions, but the Jam made a 7-3 run in the last 90 seconds to pull out the win. Seth Tarver had 15 points and six rebounds for the Stampede, who outrebounded the Jam 51-39.
Trey Johnson scored 24 points to lead the Jam. Kammron Taylor added 19 points, Marqus Blakely had 16 and Stephen Dennis had 12 points off the bench to aid the Jam.
The Stampede face the Jam in the final game of a three-game series in Bakersfield on Monday, December 6 at 8 p.m. (MT).
