Everett, WA - The Everett AquaSox won the third game of a five-game series Thursday against the Boise Hawks. Bobby Honeyman bounced back from his 0-for-4 outing last night breaking his eight-game hitting streak with a 3-for-5 night. Ryan Ramiz also hit his first professional home run in the 11-6 in the victory Friday night. For the third game in a row, the Hawks scored the first run of the game. In the bottom of the second inning, Cole Anderson hit a three-run home run that bounced off the top of the Coast to Coast Turf sign in left field, 3-0.

The bats were quiet for Everett until Honeyman broke the scoreless seal in the bottom of the fourth, hitting a solo home run. For Honeyman, it was part of a three-hit, 3 RBI night. Honeyman leads the AquaSox in hits (47). After Josh Stowers singled, Ramiz hit his first professional home run to right-center field, locking the game up at three.

Boise would re-gain the lead off a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning by Cade Harris, but yet again the AquaSox were able to come from behind. This time it came in the form of an explosive inning. Honeyman picked up his second hit of the contest, plating Geoandry Montilla from third base. Cal Raleigh then batted in Charlie McConnell on a sacrifice fly. Ramiz followed it up by scoring Honeyman on a ground out. Connor Kopach would step up to the plate and single to right field bringing Ryne Ogren home. When all the dust settled, the AquaSox scored five runs, giving themselves a comfortable four-run cushion, 8-4. The fans rejoiced after the inning once announced that since the AquaSox scored seven runs, they would all receive a free short stack of pancakes from the IHOP on Broadway by showing their ticket stub!

The inning gave reliever Ulises Perez, who entered the game in the top of the sixth inning, a cushion that he wouldn't need it. Perez pitched three scoreless innings, striking out two.

Bobby Honeyman tacked on another run to the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning, plating Montilla on a line drive double to center field. J.T. Salter would relieve Perez in the top of the ninth inning in his home debut, the AquaSox would win 9-4.

Saturday night the Everett AquaSox will play for the series win against the Boise Hawks at 7:05 PM. Tomorrow night is the 21st Annual Frogstock presented by K&H Printers along with Coug Night benefiting Hilinski's Hope. The AquaSox will wear special Frogstock jerseys throughout the game that will be auctioned off on the concourse with proceeds benefiting the AquaSox Community Fund. All fans are encouraged to stick around after the game and enjoy Postgame Fireworks presented by K&H Printers.

W: U. Perez (2-3)
