Friday's Game in Hickory Postponed Due to Rain
June 7, 2019 - South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Columbia Fireflies News Release
HICKORY, NC - Friday's game against the Hickory Crawdads has been postponed due to rain and moved to ------Saturday as part of a doubleheader.
Both games will be seven innings long, with the first starting at 4:00 p.m. at L.P. Frans Stadium. Game two will start after the conclusion of game one but no earlier than 6:30 p.m.
Oddly enough, this is the second time these two teams have been postponed due to rain on a Friday this season. April 19's game at Segra Park was postponed because of inclement weather.
The Fireflies are 2-2 in doubleheaders this season - two losses to Hickory on April 20 and two wins against Rome on May 13.
