
Freeman Earns Player of the Week Honors

Rome, GA - Rome Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman has been selected for Player of the Week honors in the South Atlantic League.
From July 7 -13, Freeman hit .423 (11-26), two home runs, four runs scored, and eight RBI with a slugging percentage of .885. This is the second Player of the Week honor for the Rome Braves as Pitcher Scott Diamond was selected for the last week of April.
The Braves are home tonight at State Mutual Stadium for a doubleheader beginning at 6pm against the Kannapolis Intimidators.
