
Neal Bashes 'Birds, 5-2 in Series Finale

Salisbury, Md.- Thomas Neal went 3-4, with two home runs and drove in all five Augusta runs as the GreenJackets defeated Delmarva 5-2 to earn the split of the four game series Monday night at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The Shorebirds stranded 12 runners in the game and avoided being shut out with a two out Tyler Henson two RBI single in the seventh inning.
Matt Tucker continued his hot hitting going two for three with a pair of walks and a run scored. Tucker is 17 for his last 33. Joe Nowikc
Delmarva finished the eight game homestand 5-3 with three wins against Greenville and two against Augusta. Delmarva hits the road for an eight game road trip with stops in Asheville and in Hickory. The first pitch is set for 7:05 from historic McCormick Field in Asheville on Wednesday night.
