Washington, Pennsylvania: Coming into last night's game, Florence and Washington were tied atop the Frontier League East Division, the Freedom were looking to regain first place by themselves once again.

The Freedom were getting beat until the Seventh, when the offense woke up, and the pitching started suffocating Wild Thing bats. Darin Kinsolving went 2-5 with an RBI, raising his batting average to .368. Scott Martin went 2-4 with an RBI, his batting average now stands at .328. The man of the night though was clearly Kyle Geswein, he went 2-5, with the game winning home-run, a three run bomb in the seventh, putting the Freedom ahead for good, 5-4. It was Geswein's 12th homer of the season. Joel Posey pitched a solid game, going five innings, giving up two runs, one earned, on only one hit, striking out seven, Posey also lowered his ERA to 3.25. He sadly got a no decision, Curt Moenter picked up the win, his third of the season. Ted Rowe, leading the Blistex Relief Pitcher of the Year award points, picked up the save, his seventh of the season, thats two more points for Rowe.

The Freedom wrap up the series with Washington tonight, at 6:35.
