Freedom Return Home for Important 9-Game Homestand

FLORENCE, KY - The Florence Freedom, presented by Titan Mechanical Solutions, return home to UC Health Stadium this Wednesday through Sunday for a ten day, nine game homestand.
The Freedom enter Wednesday at (11-16) on the season, and 5.5 games out of first place in the Frontier League West Division. During the homestand, the Freedom will play host to the Windy City Thunderbolts (10-15), Schaumburg Boomers (13-14) and Evansville Otters (15-12).
Fans are rewarded for purchasing tickets in advance of game day, as reserved tickets start at just $9 ($3 savings per ticket) when purchased in advance. Promotions during the next five days include the following:
Wednesday
Wednesday night will feature a doubleheader between the clubs starting at 5:35pm. Wednesday is also military appreciation night, presented by Kerry Automotive and Enterprise Car Rental. Active, retired and veterans can claim tickets for themselves and their immediate families thanks to 24 business sponsors. Between games, there will be a military call down salute of all active, retired and veteran service men and women, along with a swear in ceremony of future military personnel. The Freedom will wear specialty camo jerseys during game one. The jerseys will be auctioned off during the game via silent auction and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the USO. Game time 5:35pm, gates open at 4:35pm.

Thursday
Thirsty Thursday returns as the Freedom wrap up their series with the Windy City Thunderbolts at 6:35pm. The Thirsty Thursday lineup features $1 Miller Lite and Coors Light draft, $3 aluminum pints, including Bud Light and $4 craft beer drafts. For the non-beer drinking crowd, Pepsi products can be enjoyed for just $2. Game time 6:35pm, gates open at 5:35pm.

Friday
The Schaumburg Boomers come to town for game one of a three game set. Star Wars Night invades UC Health Stadium on Friday, presented by Metzger Eye Care. Over a dozen fan favorite Star Wars characters will be on the concourse for fan interactions. The first 800 Freedom Kids Club members will receive a complimentary lightsaber giveaway. After the game, Elite Pyrotechnics lights up the sky with an incredible fireworks show presented by Arlinghaus Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. Game time 7:05pm, gates open at 6:05pm.

Saturday
Freedom Beer Fest is here! Over 40 craft beers from around the region can be enjoyed on the concourse. Fans can purchase 5oz pours for $2.50 each, or 5 for $10. After the game get your Irish party game on with a concert by the Bastard Bearded Irishmen. Kids 12 and under with a wristband will also be allowed to play kick-ball on the field. Game time 6:05pm, gates open at 5:05pm.

Sunday
The Freedom celebrate Father's Day at the ballpark and pay tribute to their late owner Clint Brown, who rescued the team back in 2005, and brought the Freedom up to the position they are today. Brown, 63, passed suddenly this offseason in January. Festivities include catch on the field pre-game for dads/grandpas and their kids, and a plaque dedication and ceremony for Clint will happen pre-game. After the game, kids will get to run the bases and be treated to an entire team autograph session post- game, all courtesy of Cornerstone Lillie Insurance and Gold Star Chili. Game time 6:05pm, gates open at 5:05pm.
