Freedom rally to defeat Roosters

Richmond, Indiana: Both Florence and Richmond came into last night looking to win the series, but Florence came out on top in a rally, 10-7.

Heading into the eighth inning, the Freedom trailed 7-5, but they managed to rally and scored two in the eighth, and three in the ninth. Wally "The Wizard" Quigg had a great night, he went 2-5, with two runs scored, and an RBI. His batting average was raised to .283. Mike Galloway continued his hot hitting, he went 2-4 with his 20th homerun of the season, he also drove in four runs, raising his batting average to .397. Trevor Hall had a spectacular hitting night, going 3-4. Darin Kinsolving added his seventh homerun of the season, and Kyle Geswein continued his power hitting, he smacked his 16th and 17th homers of the season. Curt Moenter got the start against his former team for the Freedom, he went five, giving up four earned runs. Mickey O'Quinn pitched one and two/thirds innings in relief, not allowing an earned run. Ted Rowe finished the game, and picked up the win, improving his record to 5-1.

The Freedom head to Chillicothe, to face the Paints in a three game set before returning home to Champion Window Field Wednesday, to face the Windy City Thunderbolts.
