Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders have completed a roster move today, releasing 19 year-old right winger Fredrik Cedergren. Cedergren will return to his hometown of Rosenberg, Sweden this weekend and is expected to play in the Swedish Elite League.

Cedergren was the Raiders selection in the 2009 CHL European Draft, 26th overall. This season Cedergren appeared in 31 games with the Raiders scoring 1 goal and 5 assists.

The move reduces the Raiders roster to 23 players: 2 goaltenders, 8 defencemen and 13 forwards.

Friday night the Raiders play their final home game before Christmas entertaining the Saskatoon Blades at 7:00 PM. It is Northern Lights Casino night with all fans 19 and over having a chance to win autographed and framed NHL jerseys of Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Saku Koivu.
