
Fourth Quarter Woes Push Wolves to Loss against Legends

Frisco, Texas - The Iowa Wolves (15-18) gave up 41 fourth quarter points en route to a 132-105 loss to the Texas Legends (19-15) on the road Saturday night.
James Webb III and Jaylen Johnson just missed out on double-doubles for Iowa. Webb III led the Wolves with 15 points to go along with nine rebounds on the evening. The forward shot 6-of-11 from the field.
Jaylen Johnson tallied nine points, 10 rebounds and five assists in the loss.
In all, five players finished in double figures for the visiting team, including three bench players.
Brandone Francis totaled a new season-high with 13 points. Lindell Wigginton (14), Barry Brown Jr. (13) and Canyon Barry (11) rounded out the field in double digits.
Defensively the Wolves allowed the Legends to shoot 53.4% (54-of-101) from the field and 41.9% (18-of-43) from beyond the arc.
Former NBA guard Cameron Payne filled it up for Texas, pouring in a game-high 43 points on 17-of-24 shooting, including 6-of-10 from deep. The total marked a season-high for the former Murray State Racer.
Iowa returns home for a one-game stint at Wells Fargo Arena against the Stockton Kings on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. CT.
