
Four Silvertips Named to NHL Central Scouting Midterm List

EVERETT, Wash. - Four Everett Silvertips have been named to the NHL Central Scouting Service Midterm Rankings. Julius Miettinen and Tarin Smith return to the list after earning a pre-season ranking, while Eric Jamieson and Jesse Heslop have been added for consideration.
Miettinen, an '06-born center, is the highest-ranked Silvertip on the North American skaters list at 49. Named to the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game to be played in Moncton on Jan. 24, Miettinen has racked up 17 goals and 17 assists over 41 games played this season. He leads the team with nine goals on the powerplay with six additional assists on the man advantage.
Smith, an '06-born defender, is ranked 54th-overall and 16th amongst North American defenseman. He paces all Silvertip blueliners with 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) in 41 appearances this season, seven of them coming on the powerplay.
Jamieson, an '05-born defenseman, is in his second season of NHL Draft eligibility. After attending Seattle Kraken development and training camp over the summer, he's collected six goals and 11 assists over 39 games played. At 6-foot-3, 204 pounds, he's emerged as one of the top physical presences on the Silvertips this season. He is ranked 107th-overall.
Heslop, an '06-born winger, is ranked 162nd amongst North American skaters. He has amassed 10 goals and 16 assists (nine on the powerplay) over 34 games played. Heslop was named the team's Rookie of the Year at the team awards ceremony last season, accumulating 41 points in 66 games.
