McKenzie, Unger Crack NHL Central Scouting Midterm Rankings

Moose Jaw, SK - The Moose Jaw Warriors had two players crack the midterm rankings by NHL Central Scouting on Friday.

Pavel McKenzie was ranked 170th among North American skaters, while Jackson Unger came in ranked 18th among North American goalies for the 2024 NHL Draft.

McKenzie has put together a strong rookie campaign with the Warriors. The Cumberland House, SK product has posted 10 goals and 24 points in 37 games this season.

Unger currently leads the WHL in starts, wins and saves. The Calgary product has posted a 20-12-0-2 record, 2.94 goals against average, 0.917 save percentage and two shutouts in 34 games this season.

There were 60 Western Hockey League players on the midterm ranking list, leading the Canadian Hockey League.
