Calgary Hitmen News Release

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club is pleased to announce four Hitmen players occupy NHL Central Scouting's final rankings ahead of the 2018 NHL Draft.

Riley Stotts, Egor Zamula, Vladislav Yeryomenko and Carson Focht were all named to the midterm rankings in late January as North American skaters but each has seen their draft stock climb on the final list released today.

Stotts jumps from 88th in the midterm rankings to 51st. He tallied 41 points (17g, 24a) in 47 games with Calgary after arriving as part of a November 25, 2017, trade from the Swift Current Broncos.

Zamula, listed 100th in January, climbs to 64th. He played top-four minutes on the blueline in Calgary after being claimed by the Hitmen off WHL Import Waivers on January 9, 2018.

Yeryomenko, ranked 79th on the mid-term list moves up to 73rd. The Belarusian rearguard took home the Hitmen Defenceman of the Year Award this past season.

Focht was the biggest mover for Calgary climbing 45 spots from 200 in January to number 155. The sophomore centre recorded 17 points (7g, 10a) with the Hitmen after a January 6, 2018, trade from the Tri-City Americans.

The 2018 NHL Draft will be held June 22-23, 2018, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
