Forward Jack Combs Recalled from ECHL Greenville, Richard Nejezchleb Loaned to Greenville

HARTFORD, November 16, 2015: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has recalled forward Jack Combs from its ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, and has loaned forward Richard Nejezchleb to Greenville.

Combs, a 27-year-old seventh-year pro, leads Greenville in points through the team's 13 games, with five goals and seven assists for 12 points. The 5-11, 200-pound St. Louis, MO native signed an AHL contract with the Wolf Pack August 5, after playing for a total of five clubs, in three different countries, last season. Combs began the year with Toros Neftekamsk of Russia's Vysshaya Liga (VHL), posting seven assists and four penalty minutes in 11 games, before joining the Allen Americans of the ECHL. Combs rolled up 56 points (22-34-56) in only 32 games with Allen, but headed back overseas for a three-game stint with IF Björklöven of Sweden's Allsvenskan, during which he had one goal. A quick return to the ECHL saw Combs notch 5-8-13 in a ten-game run with the Stockton Thunder and 4-3-7 in five games with the Cincinnati Cyclones.

All told in 2014-15 ECHL action, Combs totaled 31 goals and 45 assists for 76 points in 47 games, good for sixth in the league in point-scoring.

Combs, who has skated in 144 AHL games over the course of his career, last played in the AHL in 2013-14, logging 19 games with the San Antonio Rampage (0-2-2, 18 PIM) and 29 contests with the Oklahoma City Barons (5-4-9, 16 PIM). He has also seen AHL action with the Peoria Rivermen, Chicago Wolves, Worcester Sharks and Bridgeport Sound Tigers, posting overall AHL totals of 38 goals and 37 assists for 75 points, along with 74 PIM.

Nejezchleb, a rookie out of the Western Hockey League and a fifth-round pick (122nd overall) by the New York Rangers in the 2014 NHL draft, has suited up for 13 games with the Wolf Pack this year, registering one goal and eight penalty minutes.

The Wolf Pack's next action is this Friday night, November 20, when they travel to Utica to take on the Comets. The next home game for the Wolf Pack is this Saturday night, November 21, a 7:00 contest vs. the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The first 2,000 fans into the XL Center will receive a free, full-color 2016 Wolf Pack team calendar, presented by Gaylord Specialty Healthcare. There will also be a Thanksgiving food drive at that game, and at the Pack's home game the next day, Sunday, November 22 vs. Utica. Any fan who donates five or more non-perishable food items will receive a buy-one-get-one-free voucher redeemable for any 2015-16 Wolf Pack home game.

Tickets for all 2015-16 Wolf Pack home games are on sale now at the Agera Energy Ticket Office at the XL Center, on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499. Tickets purchased in advance for kids 12 or younger have been reduced to $10 this season, and all tickets will have a $2 day-of-game increase.
