Former Snappers Making Noise in Latest Baseball America

In the newest edition of Baseball America, seven former Snappers have been given top ratings in specific categories. Based on surveys from league managers, these seven former Beloit residents have excelled in these impressive categories:

Prince Fielder is rated as the best power hitting first baseman in the National League. Prince is batting .283 with 31 home runs and 79 RBI this season for the Milwaukee Brewers

Kevin Slowey is considered the best pitching prospect and has the best control in the International League (AAA). Kevin is 8-3 with a 1.85 ERA in 14 starts at Triple A Rochester this season.

Matt Garza has the best fastball in the International League (AAA). Garza went 4-6 with a 3.62 ERA in 16 games started with Rochester this season.

Yovani Gallardo has the best control in the Pacific Coast League (AAA). Gallardo went 8-3 with a 2.90 ERA in 13 games started at Triple A Nashville this season.

Manny Parra is looked at as the best pitching prospect in the Southern League (AA). Manny went 7-3 in 13 starts with a 2.68 ERA at Double A Huntsville this year.

Jeff Manship has the best breaking ball and the best control in the Midwest League (A). Manship went 7-1 with a 1.51 ERA and 77 strikeouts in 13 starts for the Snappers this season.

Rob Delaney is rated as the best reliever in the Midwest League (A). Rob broke the Snappers' All-Time Save Record earlier this season with 29 this season. Delaney also sported an impressive 0.77 ERA for the Snappers.

Former Snappers' Hitting Coach, Mike Guerrero, was rated as the best managerial prospect in the South Atlantic League (West Virginia) this season.
