
Former LSU Pitcher Joins Zephyrs

METAIRIEâ â The New Orleans Zephyrs, the Class AA Pacific Coast League Affiliate of the Houston Astros are pleased to announce that left handed pitcher Randy Keisler has been added to the Zephyrs roster. To make room for Keisler on the roster Eric Cammack was sent to Class AA Round Rock.
Keisler was a 2nd Round Pick for the Yankees in 1998 out of LSU. The south-paw pitched for the Yankees in 2000 and 2001. He missed all of 2002 due to injury. He has pitched with San Diego Padres (0-1, 12.00) Oklahoma and Portland this season. He combined to pitch in 13 games (8 starts) and had a 4.00 ERA in the PCL.
Cammack was 0-0 with a 1.93 ERA in four appearances for the Z's.
Keisler will get the start for the Zephyrs as they open a 12 game road trip tonight in Albuquerque against the Isotopes. First pitch is scheduled for 8:11 PM. The game can be heard on WTIX-AM 690 and at www.zephyrsbaseball.com with Tim Grubbs and calling the action.
