Greensboro Grasshoppers News Release
(GREENSBORO, NC) A cold front moving rapidly from Texas is expected to drop a large amount of snow at First Horizon Park tonight, with the highest accumulation predicted in the Natty's Hill area.
The timing of the weather fits perfectly with the Greensboro Grasshoppers planned 'Christmas in July' event, in which the entire night will be geared toward a giant holiday celebration.
Each inning fans will have the chance to win big prizes from local sponsors, including jewelry from Schiffman's Jewelers. Kids will also have the opportunity to take photos with Santa, who is visiting Greensboro as part of his summer vacation.
