BRIDGEPORT, CT - Bill McLaughlin, the director of communications and play-by-play voice of the American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, is keeping a web log during the 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs. McLaughlin will offer his observations and thoughts on the Calder Cup Playoffs, the NHL's Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Sound Tigers and other hockey-related topics on 'the BILLog'. Fans can, in turn, email questions, comments and feedback to McLaughlin via the Ask The Broadcaster or Ask Bill links that are posted on the front page of www.soundtigers.com.

After opening the playoffs with a 2-1 road win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Thursday, the Sound Tigers will continue their best-of-seven East Division semifinal with game two in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. Game three is scheduled for this Sunday, April 23rd at 3:05 p.m. at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard.
