Dallas sends one to Iowa

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced today that the Dallas Stars have returned Left Wing Mathias Tjarnqvist to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Iowa Stars.

The 27-year-old Tjarnqvist appeared in 33 games for the NHL's Dallas Stars this season, registering two goals and four assists. In 34 games with Iowa, the Swedish-born forward garnered 39 points, including 17 goals. He lays claim to the lone Iowa Stars Hat-Trick this season, January 18th in Grand Rapids.

CALDER CUP PLAYOFFS: The best-of-seven series will see the first two games (Fri & Sat) played in Milwaukee, before returning to Wells Fargo Arena for games on Monday, April 24th, and Tuesday, April 25th. If necessary, Game Five will be held on Thursday, April 27th at Wells Fargo Arena. All of the home dates will have 7:05 PM face-offs. Games Six and Seven, also if necessary, will be on the road, however, due to NBA scheduling, game dates and time have not yet been finalized. Doors open for all home games one hour prior to face-off.
