
Binghamton Senators online jersey auction begins Friday

BINGHAMTON - The Binghamton Senators will conduct an online auction on the team's web site (www.binghamtonsenators.com) featuring select 2005-06 game worn and game issued jerseys beginning on Friday, April 21 and lasting until Sunday, April 30. The jerseys will be auctioned in sets beginning with the black third jerseys on Friday, red away jerseys on Saturday, and white home jerseys on Sunday. Bidding on each jersey will last for seven days and start at $200.
Among the highlights of the auction are jerseys issued or worn during the 2005-06 season by several players including 56-goal scorer Denis Hamel, center Steve Martins, rookie Patrick Eaves and all-star defenseman Filip Novak among others.
The winning bidder may pay using cash, PayPal, Visa or Mastercard. Local winners may pick up their jersey at the Metrocenter in downtown Binghamton on Monday, May 1 and Tuesday May 2 from noon to 6 p.m. Each jersey will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Season tickets for the fifth anniversary campaign are now on sale at the Sens' executive office - third floor of the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. To purchase 2006-07 season tickets, the Sens' office is open Monday through Friday during the summer months from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and can be reached by calling 722-SENS (7367). The deadline for 2005-06 season ticket holders to renew their seats is Saturday, July 1st.
And this year, in celebration of the B-Sens fifth anniversary, season ticket holders will have a chance to win a free 2006-07 season ticket or a night in a skybox suite for one game next season. Those paying for their season tickets in full by Monday, May 1 at 5 p.m. will be entered to win both prizes, while those placing a deposit worth half of their season ticket price by that date will be entered to win the one free season ticket. A random drawing of all valid entries will take place on Wednesday, May 3 to select the winners.
