Florida Panthers Loan D Jesse Blacker to Rampage

SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 4, 2014) - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that defenseman Jesse Blacker has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage.

Blacker was acquired earlier today in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks for defenseman Colby Robak and future draft pick considerations.

The second-round draft pick (58th overall) of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2009, Blacker has played in 15 games for the Norfolk Admirals this season, registering five assists. He made his NHL debut on Nov. 28, skating in a 4-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. The Toronto native tallied five goals and 19 assists in 50 games for the Admirals last season.
