St. John's IceCaps News Release

Give to those less fortunate; get your Christmas shopping done and enjoy exciting AHL hockey during the St. John's IceCaps December homestand.

Fans can help the IceCaps give back to the community by taking part in the always exciting NTV/ Salvation Army Teddy Toss Friday night when St. John's hosts division-rival Worcester Sharks. The toys will be collected and distributed by the Salvation Army to needy children throughout the province at Christmas. Buddy the Puffin plush figures will be made available at a reduced price at IceCaps Alley for the event. The Salvation Army will on site with clear bags for those who require them.

Also, starting Friday, IceCaps wives and girlfriends will be selling team calendars and Christmas decorations on the Mile One Centre concourse, while supplies last during games in December. All proceeds go to IceCaps Care and the Williams Family Foundation.

Additionally, the IceCaps will also be selling four limited-edition, framed and matted photos on the concourse for $200, including taxes. The collection includes: Opening Night, Calder Cup Finals, Third Jersey Unveil and IceCaps Game Panoramic.
