Flames Recall Forward Blair Betts from Saint John

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames Vice-President & General Manager Craig Button announced today forward Blair Betts has been recalled from the Saint John Flames of the American Hockey League.

Betts played in 19 games with Saint John this season posting 13 points (6 goals, 7 assists) including three game-winning goals. The 6'3" 200 lbs. native of Edmonton, AB made his NHL debut with the Flames last season scoring one goal in six games. Betts was the Flames' second choice, 33rd overall, in the 1998 Entry Draft.
