Flames Assign Doman, Release St. Pierre

Saint John, NB – The Saint John Flames announced today that 23-year-old right wing Matt Doman has been assigned to the Johnstown Chiefs of the East Coast Hockey League. In 17 games with Saint John this season, the 6'0", 209 lb native of St. Cloud, Minnesota had recorded 1 goal and 15 penalty minutes. Doman will join the Chiefs in Toledo in time for Johnstown's game tonight against the Toledo Storm.

The Saint John Flames also announced today that Sam St. Pierre has been released from his Professional Tryout. St. Pierre, who made his AHL debut this season appearing in 2 games with Saint John, will also rejoin the Chiefs immediately.

The Flames are in action this week, hosting the St. John's Maple Leafs at Harbour Station tonight and Friday. Game time each night is 7:30 p.m. The Flames then host the Portland Pirates on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. All games are listed in Saint John time.
